Lynne Timmington is now working as a painter at the peak of her career. Her work is in great demand, having established herself as a highly respected artist represented in galleries all over the country.
As a very young child, Lynne's talent was apparent and, after working as a teacher for many years and winning an award for services to the arts in that capacity, she went on to win the recognition of the late George Melly who was one of the judges in the Pizza Express Contemporary Art Competition in 2000.
Since that time, her technique has evolved at a great pace and her work is now recognised for its unique and distinctive style. It can be found in many corporate and private collections all over the world. Exhibitions range from a one-woman show at the Barbican and joint shows at The Mall Galleries and The National Theatre on the Southbank.
Her work has been published as open and limited edition prints.
