Stephanie Stow, is a contemporary painter of original abstract paintings. Stephanie Stow studied at the University of Hertfordshire and University College, Suffolk, graduating with a BA Honours degree in Art & Design. 

Stephanie Stow’s work is a combination of oil, acrylic and mixed media, on canvas and paper. Working closely with interior designers has enabled her to create the right look for luxury homes and apartments. 

Stephanie's love is the physicality of the paintings, the doing, scraping into layers, revealing hidden colour. She enjoys the play of the paint, the texture and forms as they develop. Influences include nature, anything from pebbles on a beach to seed heads in the garden. It is about looking beneath and always being excited by the endless possibilities.

After showing original pieces at Grand Designs Live 2008, Stephanie Stow currently has pieces on display at BoConcept, Selfridges, London.
